The staff was courteous, welcoming, and everything was perfect.

Both my sister and I enjoyed being there. It had good food, caring staff. The location was unbeatable, just 5 min walk from Chapel.

Fantastic experience there. We really enjoyed our stay; the staff and location were pleasant. It was near York downtown. Bed was quiet, and the room itself was pretty.

Gillygate Pub - is simply one love. Enjoyed the staff and location, comfy beds and very clean hotel. Big room with all necessities. There is cafe Bistro Guy, set 100 metres walk away.

That sometimes the street was noisy.

We enjoyed our time here. Superb location, comfortable bed, lovely breakfast. All those staff we met were helpful! Situated in the centre of York, it's a great place for exploring the city.

Characterful base for exploring York. Spend our time here lovely. Great bar area.

The bathroom was very dark. The bed was uncomfortable.
